Refund policy

For hygiene and food safety reasons, LADURÉE will not accept any returns or exchanges of perishable food products and/or products that are not sealed.

Indeed, in accordance with applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of the following Products:

(i) Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized (for example: croquembouches, personalized macaron gift boxes, personalized Eugénie gift boxes, and pyramids);

(ii) Fresh and perishable products such as macarons, pastries, Yule logs, croquembouches, etc.;

(iii) Unsealed products, whether unsealed upon receipt or opened by the Customer after delivery, which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection (including chocolates, perles and langue de chat biscuits).

For all other Products, in accordance with applicable regulations, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the Product to exercise their right of withdrawal with the Seller, without having to provide any reason or incur any penalty, for the purpose of exchange or refund.

By accepting a replacement or refund, the Customer or any other concerned party agrees to waive any additional claims that may be made, including, without limitation, claims for the payment of interest.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised either by written notice on plain paper or by using the withdrawal form set out in Appendix 1 of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. The Seller will immediately provide the Customer with an acknowledgment of receipt on a durable medium. This right may also be exercised by logging into “My Account,” accessing the order history, selecting the relevant order, and clicking “Manage and Cancel Items.”

Only the cancellation of eligible items will be effective.

The Products must be returned within fourteen (14) days following notification to the Seller of the Customer’s decision to withdraw, together with the purchase invoice, in their original packaging and in perfect condition suitable for resale as new. Damaged, soiled, or incomplete Products will not be accepted.

If the right of withdrawal is exercised within the aforementioned period, only the price of the purchased Product(s) and the delivery costs will be refunded; return shipping costs shall remain the responsibility of the Customer.

Any exchange (subject to availability) or refund will be processed within fourteen (14) days from the Seller’s receipt of the Products returned by the Customer in accordance with the terms of this article.
