Digital Accessibility Plan
1. Introduction
This document presents Ladurée’s multi-year digital accessibility plan, covering a period of three years.
The objective is to ensure that digital services are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.
2. Commitment and Accessibility Policy
Ladurée is committed to gradually integrating digital accessibility into its online services.
Therefore, we commit to completing this multi-year plan while following the nine key areas necessary for its full implementation, namely:
2.1 Strategy
Ladurée’s accessibility strategy is currently being structured.
It aims to integrate accessibility from the earliest stages of digital projects, raise awareness among internal teams, and prioritize essential services for users.
The initial steps include:
- Identifying the services concerned
- Initiating compliance audits
- Building a realistic and progressive multi-year action plan
2.2 Accessibility Officer
A Digital Accessibility Officer is in the process of being appointed.
This officer will play a key role in:
- Coordinating the accessibility approach
- Supporting internal teams
- Monitoring regulatory and technical developments
A dedicated mission description will be defined in the coming year.
2.3 Resources
Currently, resources are mainly internal (project managers, IT managers, communication teams).
External support is planned to:
- Assist with audits
- Train teams
- Advise on accessibility best practices
The objective is to structure human and budgetary resources within the multi-year plan.
2.4 Job Descriptions
Integrating accessibility-related responsibilities into job descriptions is a medium-term objective.
A review will be initiated starting in 2025 to identify relevant roles (writers, developers, project managers, etc.) and integrate accessibility requirements into job references.
2.5 Training
Initial digital accessibility awareness sessions are planned from 2025.
The goal is to start building team skills through:
- Awareness of disabilities and digital barriers
- Introduction to RGAA
- Presentation of regulatory requirements and key issues
- Practical modules tailored to specific roles (writer, developer, etc.)
2.6 Governance
The governance structure for this initiative is being defined.
A cross-functional monitoring committee will be established, including relevant internal stakeholders (IT, communication, management, legal, etc.).
This committee will oversee the progress of the action plan and ensure the coherence of initiatives.
2.7 Procurement
Considering accessibility in digital procurement is a priority to be integrated in the coming months.
Work with the Purchasing Department will aim to:
- Revise templates for specifications
- Introduce clauses compliant with EN 301 549 and RGAA
- Raise awareness among teams about evaluating accessibility compliance in digital services
2.8 Digital Projects
Future digital projects will gradually integrate accessibility requirements.
The goal is to embed accessibility in:
- Specifications from the planning phase
- Choice of tools and solutions
- Validation steps before going live
Support will be provided to project managers to ensure realistic and practical consideration of accessibility.
2.9 Annual Action Plan Review
The first annual action plan will be developed following an assessment scheduled in 2025.
This review will evaluate:
- Actions completed
- Priorities for the following year
It will be part of a continuous improvement approach, with transparent communication on progress.
3. Compliance
New Projects and Compliance
- New Projects: Accessibility is considered from the design phase of all new projects.
- User Testing: Users with disabilities will be invited to participate in user testing whenever possible.
