The 2026 Advent calendar celebrates Golden Sun, the Christmas collection created in collaboration with Parisian illustrator Jacques Merle. Dressed in stars and radiant golden suns, it opens to reveal twenty-four drawers, each filled with a House classic to enjoy day by day, alone or shared around the table as Christmas approaches. Pre-order opens on 1 October 2026.

Priced at €120, the Advent calendar is designed to sit on the table throughout the festive season. Inside, French confectionery classics such as langues de chat, rochers and mendiants are reinterpreted by the House.
Carefully packed dry, they can be enjoyed straight away or kept until the end of 2026. With its vintage feel and House favourites, it is a festive ritual to share, one drawer at a time.

THE FAVOURITES BEHIND THE DRAWERS
Inside, it’s a little tour of Ladurée favourites, with a few delicious detours along the way. Eugénie in four flavours, langues de chat in milk and dark chocolate, pistachio and peanut pearls, orangettes, mendiants and chocolate fritures fill the drawers, alongside other House treats waiting to be discovered. And then comes the 24th. The final drawer holds a marshmallow bear dipped in Dulcey chocolate, because Christmas deserves a sweet little surprise.
GOLDEN SUN, A LADURÉE CHRISTMAS
The Pyramid Advent calendar belongs to Golden Sun, the 2026 Christmas collection created with Parisian illustrator Jacques Merle. Working between painting, decorative pattern and textile design, his world draws on nature, mythology and architecture, each drawing built from a few lines of poetry. The sun, personified as a deity since the oldest traditions and long read as a symbol of life and light, unfolds in stars and great gilded discs across the Pyramid. A way, for the House, to summon the imagination of Louis XIV as much as that of Cocteau or Braque, in tribute to art and to those who make it.
LADURÉE, IN CHOCOLATE
Since 1862, Ladurée has been creating the kind of confections that turn a simple sweet into a little French ritual. Best known for its macarons, the House has also developed its own chocolate repertoire, shaped by the same attention to flavour, texture and detail. From house-made pralines and infused ganaches to candied fruit, each creation is made to bring its own balance of richness and finesse. For Christmas, the collection brings together Ladurée favourites including the Incomparables, mendiants and the iconic 16 Royale, alongside marshmallows and other festive confections. The Ladurée Advent Calendar 2026 holds 480 g of chocolates and confections across 24 drawers: dark and milk chocolate rochers, mendiants, chocolate-covered orange peel, chocolate pearls, festive chocolate shapes, Eugénie biscuits and other House specialities. On 24 December, a marshmallow bear coated in Dulcey chocolate brings the countdown to a sweet finish.

The design takes inspiration from Ladurée’s iconic macaron pyramids, complete with gold and silver discs. Created to be kept at room temperature and opened day by day, the calendar contains only chocolates and confections. Macarons are fresh pastries that need to be refrigerated.
